Hello to all of my lovely blog readers out there! Today is the last day I’m doing a blog post until Christmas. I continue to work into the weekend, have a nice little anniversary, a work Christmas party, and lots of traveling home. Some things are just more important than this blog, that’s all there is to it! BUT!
I have something fun before I go. I saw this on Tina’s blog yesterday and knew I wanted to play too. I love Christmas and a blog post about Christmas sounds like the cat’s meow to me, yeah? I need a little extra love today and this is the perfect way to do it.
YEAH!
1. Favorite Christmas Album/CD/Song?
My sister and I listen endlessly to the Relient K CD at this time of year. Let It Snow, Baby Let It Reindeer. With an album title like that, do you REALLY think I wouldn’t listen to it?
I wasn’t a “runner” this time last year! So I don’t know! I think it’s a time to spend with family, but I might say yes. We’ll see how it goes! And also if I remember to bring all of my running clothes home…along with the MASSIVE amounts of laundry I have…
3. What do you usually eat on Christmas morning?
My grandma makes us sausage and biscuits every Christmas morning! She will be in Connecticut with more of our family, so maybe somebody else will make it this year. I’m tempted to make Sarah’s quiche because my dad will just never know it’s quinoa. He seems to have a vendetta against it…
4. Favorite Holiday or Christmas tradition?
5. Real tree, fake tree, or no tree?
I’ve always grown up with a fake tree because I had this issue with allergies and asthma when I was younger. So hip and cool, right? But I love a real tree. Paul’s dad waited for me to get home specifically last year to go out and get one because I wanted to!

Freshman year tree photo session with my sister.
6. Christmas pajamas…yay or nay?
I LITERALLY just asked my mom if we could do this yesterday. Here’s to hoping we can find some this late in the game!!
7. Where do you spend the holidays?
Now I spend Christmas Eve with Paul’s family, {drive} Christmas morning with mine, {drive} Christmas at his Aunt’s…PAUSE…then I spend Christmas with my princesses. Then I spend Christmas with family. Then I spend Christmas with MORE family. This really spans until New Year’s Eve. Constant celebration, just the way I like it!
8. Food that you always have during the holiday season? Favorite Christmas food/treat?
I don’t know if there’s something I ALWAYS have during the holidays. My Aunt/Uncle/cousins always brings STACKS of Tupperware with cookies in it. So I always look forward to some Crinkles and Cinnamon Snails ala Connecticut!
9. Open presents all at once or take turns?
TAKE TURNS. Holy Moses. When I was younger I would try to wait last. Some people seemed to think I was being nice. But even to this day, I HATE having no presents left over. Just because that means I can’t celebrate longer. It 100% has nothing to do with the present inside. Just celebrating. I’m insane, I know it.
We tend to go around in a circle to ACTUALLY answer your question.

Can we talk about how AWESOME my timing is? DONE.
10. Favorite Christmas(ish) movie?
Love Actually, and don’t try to convince me otherwise.

Swoon.
Your turn! Answer any (or all!) of these questions. And do me a favor…HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Enjoy your holidays and have safe travels! I love ELF!!
YES! Elf is another great one. I can almost quote the entire thing, as I’m sure many people can. But I do at every opportunity possible.

sausage sounds wonderful, but on christmas morning we go sweeter and my mom does pillsbury cinnamon rolls. that icing is so good!
yes, opening presents one at a time is the best. when i was little we would absolutely tear through them. now i like to prolong the process, especially since as we get older there are less presents that don’t come in an envelope if you know what i mean.
love actually is FAB. last night my dad was actually complaining that he hasn’t seen it on yet this holiday season.
