It’s A Miracle?

by Amanda on January 9, 2013

Okay, if you want to fully understand this post, go back and read my Confusing Musings from yesterday. I worked really hard on rhyming the title (except for I did it in .2 seconds) and it’ll just make a lot more sense instead of having this all be some crazy jargon. Go on, I can wait! I promise.

And some entertainment for those of you that have already read it.

Disney Les Mis

Les Mis and Disney together as one. HAHA.

Now that we’re back from that slight diversion, let’s get caught up with what happened this morning. Yesterday, after reading some of those comments I decided that I was going to back off. I don’t need a why. I can proudly say I look in the mirror and don’t (usually!) bad mouth myself anymore. I’m healthy, I’m happy. I don’t need to go looking for a why as to why I want to work out/run/dance/breathe/etc. It’s there inside of me and would be quite ADVENTURE-LIKE to discover it, would it not?

And then I read a post in The Daily Love this morning by a man named Kute Blackson called It’s 2013 and Time to Leap!

And I quote:

“So don’t think you know where you are going, even when you think you know where you are going. Stay open and curious about what is seeking to happen.

Then each moment becomes a juicy surprise.

Give up the need to know.

Give up the need for the perfect plan.

Trust Life itself.”

Uh. I think I’m jumping on the Uni-verse train. So for those of you out there who read my blog from yesterday and said, “YES. HOLLA. PREACH. ME TOO.” Maybe this is all there is to it? A miracle is a shift from fear to love…so I’m not afraid anymore…and I’m in a pretty loving place…soooooo…;)

So I’ll be hopping on the May Cause Miracles book club that Heather is hosting as long as I can find a cheaper option for the book because I am in the “strapped” region of the cash-o-meter. So if anybody has any ideas, feel free to enlighten me. ;) And for those people who want to play too…here’s the info from Heather herself!

What are your goals for the year? Are you feeling a little stuck and aren’t sure where to start? My beautiful teacher, Gabrielle Bernstein, has got you covered! She launches her new fabulous book, May Cause Miracles, today! Pick up a copy. It WILL change your life. I promise.

I believe in this book so much that I decided to start a May Cause Miracles book club right here in Rhode Island and on the blog!

This book May Cause Miracles! #GabrielleBernstein

For all of my local readers, you gotta hop on this love train! Starting on Monday, January 14, at 7:00 p.m., we will meet every week for one hour at Wildflour Vegan Bakery & Cafe in Pawtucket, RI. We’ll kick off our work weeks with a bang and discuss one chapter of the book each week. We’ve got a great group of spirit junkies signed up and we’d love to have you. If you are interested in attending the weekly meet-ups, email me at heather[at]fortheloveofkale[dot]com and I’ll get you all the information you need! :-)

If you’re not a local reader, don’t worry! Every Tuesday, here on the blog, we will host a weekly chapter discussion based on the notes, topics, and stories the live group discussed the previous evening. That way, you won’t miss out on anything. This is for all of us, babes! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, email me!

And with that, I’m off to get some more endorphins flowing/scrounging the world for extra dollar bills.

Will you be participating in the book club? What do you think about this “coinkydink?”

I’m glad the comments on your last entry inspired you to perhaps stop being “too” in search of that pesky letter Y. But hey if you find it in #adventureyear – that is all the more awesome! After all the Universe will reveal it to you when it’s time :) I am a cheapo and am waiting for May Cause Miracles to get to my local library. Still looking forward to learning from and reading Heather’s book club posts!
