How lucky are you guys that I have a million things to study for/complete this week? AGAIN! You won’t read me ramble on about nothing. Although, if we’re being technical you don’t have to A) hear me, unless my voice is in your head or B) even read this in the first place.
SO NO COMPLAINING!
I kid, I kid! So for my Tuesday-I-need-a-really-easy-post post, I’m going to give you two things in my life that I’m really jazzed about today. Two? I know. Two. But come on, it’s in the day. Can I really argue with that?
1. My Garmin
I know you don’t have to be plugged in for running. I totally get that. But I’m a statistics maniac. I just uploaded my recent runs onto Garmin connect and I’m pretty jazzed to see that I’ve been running. My favorite part is the map. Go GPS watches, am I right? I know this is an old news thing for a lot of people, but I remembered to upload them and clear off my watch so I’m pumped.
ALRIGHT?
It bothers me when my watch doesn’t start on time. Curse you, satellites.
Go battery life!
2. The Secret Keeper
Okay, so way back when it was…January maybe? Julie had a book club for The Secret Keeper. I was all excited because I was number 2 on the wait list and HOORAY I actually got to participate in this month’s because I didn’t have to buy it (it’s okay, you can call me cheap…or RESOURCEFUL). Well long story short, it’s March 5th and I just finished it yesterday. Really got that done in a timely fashion, right?
But it was WAY better than I expected it to be! Julie generally picks good books for her monthly shindig, but I really (shin)dug this one. Totally suggest it! I even gave it a 5 star rating on Goodreads! Who does that? Me. That’s who.
What have you been reading?
Do you like to know statistics about your runs/workouts?

I like to know the statistics AFTER my run. During it I get way too stressed out. Type-A, much?
I am such a Garmin addict!
I’ve gotten so used to my Garmin, I pretty much refuse to run without it. Now, if only it was warm enough that I would actually be willing to run outside…
I am in love with stats and my Garmin! I need to find a good read so I will have to check that one out!
Hmm it’s interesting to see the different perspectives on using Garmins. Glad you like yours! Oh, and getting into a good book is the best!!
yayyy books and goodreads. my mom loved that book!! i wanted to snag it after she was done but it was a library “rapid reader” b/c it’s been so popular there. i hope i get my hands on it eventually!
I love GPS! I am a total stats person and love that I don’t have to pull out a calculator to figure out my speed/mile and such. And yes, the maps are awesome.
